Ontario police are investigating a stabbing after a victim was found with several stab wounds collapsed on a sidewalk.
The 43-year-old man was discovered on the 500 block of SE 5th shortly after 8:30 Sunday morning. He was found near the area of Lanterman-Kiwanis Park.
The victim was transported to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario and later airlifted to a Boise area hospital. He is listed in critical condition.
At this point, no arrests have been made.
The Ontario Police Department is currently investigating the incident with the assistance of Oregon State Police, Malheur County Sheriff’s Office and the Boise Police Department. The investigation is ongoing.
