Man arrested, charged with Boise bank robbery

BOISE, Idaho - A California man was arrested and charged of armed robbery of Boise bank Thursday morning.

Boise Police responded to a report of a robbery at a bank near the intersection of Cole Road and Fairview Avenue shortly after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.  

According to the police, the male suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash in a vehicle.

Boise Police reported that officers arrived on scene and began an area search, and moments later a Garden City Police detective noticed a man fitting the suspect description driving in the area of Fairview and Curtis.  

A traffic stop was conducted, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident, said Boise Police department.

The suspect was identified as Timothy B. Freegard, 59 of Galt, CA, he was charged with armed robbery and transported to the Ada County Jail and booked under that charge.
