EAGLE, Idaho — The city of Eagle is welcoming a new movie theater and there is a grand opening happening Friday from 6 to 9 PM.
The new theater is furnished 100% with fully electric recliner seating. The projection systems are the latest laser technology and sounds systems are the highest level Dolby Digital components.
Lux offers the newest in “first run” movie releases. The Boise based parent company Reel Holdings, LLC has been building new theaters in the Treasure Valley. They have rebranded their first run theaters to “Luxe Reel Theatre” to distinguish these theaters that offer upscale amenities from their discount theaters.
The Grand Opening event will be held at the theater located at 170 E Eagles Gate Drive in Eagle, Idaho. This event will be held on Friday December 20th from 6PM to 9PM. It is free to the public there will be live Star Wars and Frozen characters in attendance.
The public is welcome and will be able to get a free photo booth picture with the storm troopers at no cost. In addition Star Wars and Frozen full size standee figures with be given away. Local musicians will perform including Eagle’s own Truman Walker, 13 yr old nationally recognized concert pianist.
