Leadership Boise Blood Challenge happening Tuesday

BOISE, Idaho — Idaho Governor Brad Little is proclaiming February 2 to be Red Cross Day in Idaho and the Red Cross is set to debut the Leadership Boise Blood Challenge.

The challenge encourages community and business leaders to challenge each other to donate blood. The leadership of St. Luke's, Saint Alphonsus, Micron, Regence BlueShield of Idaho and more have challenged each other and their teams to give blood on February 2.

According to a news release, the Red Cross hopes to collect more than 50 units from the day. Little will start the day with his proclamation and will then donate blood.

The blood drive is happening at One Capitol Center on the 14th floor from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
