LOS ANGELES — The “Garth Brooks Stadium Tour” is coming to Boise, organizers confirmed Wednesday morning.

The concert will be held Saturday, July 20th at 7:00 p.m. in Albertsons Stadium at Boise State University.

“This will be the first time Garth has played Boise in more than twenty years -- and the first ever major concert event at Albertsons Stadium,” according to a news release.

Organizers say it will be in-the-round staging.

Tickets will be on sale starting Friday, May 17th at 10:00 a.m. There will be an eight-ticket limit per purchase. Tickets can only be purchased at Ticketmaster or Ticketmaster Express 1-877-654-2784.

There will be no ticket sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on May 17th, the release said.

Tickets will cost $74.58 plus a $5.37 tax and a $15.00 service charge for a total $94.95.

Brooks recently launched “The Stadium Tour” and has already set records in the first seven stadiums, according to the release.

During the first pre-sale, the concert reportedly set records with 20,000 packages sold in under eighteen hours. Forbes noted, “To put this in context, The Beatles were the number-one vinyl artist in 2018 with 321,000 sales over 12 months.” Within minutes of the fourth and final pre-sale window opening, Brooks passed the mark of 1 million vinyl albums.

In October of last year, Brooks sold out the first-ever concert at Notre Dame Football Stadium. The concert, "Garth: Live at Notre Dame!" was filmed for television and aired December 2nd.

On November 20th of last year, Brooks released “The Anthology Part III, LIVE” -- a detailed look at his concerts. He also debuted his new song, "Stronger Than Me," at the CMA Awards -- a surprise serenade to wife, fellow singer Trisha Yearwood.

Brooks has been awarded CMA Entertainer of the Year six times, a first for any artist. He is also the first artist in history to receive seven Diamond awards for the now seven albums certified by the RIAA –- the Recording Industry Association of America -- at over 10 million album sales each and remains the #1-selling solo artist in U.S. history certified by the RIAA with over 148 million album sales.

Brooks has been inducted into the International Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Country Music Hall of Fame and most recently, the Musicians Hall of Fame. Last year, Brooks finished the three-and-a-half-year long, “Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood.” The tour smashed records previously held by such artists as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and even Brooks himself. The tour played 79 cities, and 390 concerts -- with over 100,000 tickets sold in over 20 cities. The tour sold over 6.3 million tickets, making it the biggest North American tour in history and the biggest American tour in the world, the release said

Garth also has “Inside Studio G,” a weekly Facebook Live series. It airs every Monday on Garth's Facebook page at 7:00 PM EST.
