Idaho National Guard serving their members in need this holiday

Posted

The Idaho National Guard brought the holiday spirit to their members in need. They delivered nearly 100 Thanksgiving baskets to current members on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

The baskets contained enough food to feed four people. All baskets went to current members of the National Guard in the Treasure Valley, Twin Falls, and Pocatello areas.

The Chaplains collected the food from volunteers and donations from St. Vincent de Paul.

Idaho National Guard Staff Chaplain Robert Morris says last Thursday they held a Thanksgiving meal at the grocery outlet on Fairview and Cole.
