Idaho State Police say a semi-truck carrying sixteen 2,000 pound missiles blocked I-90 for hours Friday night.

Police say the property damage crash happened near the Huetter rest area. The semi-truck, driven by 47-year-old Mark W. Dearinger, was traveling through the eastbound Port of Entry, when Dearinger drove in to the hazmat containment area instead of the interstate on ramp. The truck was disabled after police say Dearinger drove over a large snow bank.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes of the interstate were closed for about two hours until the load was confirmed not a hazard. There were no injuries, and Dearinger was given a citation for inattentive driving.
