Help kids this holiday season through Toys for Tots

While you're out and about this holiday season shopping for loved ones, keep kids in mind who may not have a present to open this Christmas.

The annual Toys for Tots toy drive helps brings presents to nearly 20,000 children each year.

The toy drive runs until December 15, but the earlier you can make a donation, the better.

While your shopping, consider gifts for both boys and girls of all ages. It's especially tricky for the Marines to find toys for the "older kids" 10-14 years. Think books, arts and craft supplies, dolls, learning games and stuffed animals.

You can find drop-off boxes in Albertsons stores across the Treasure Valley, along with many other locations across the state.

If you don't want to pick out a toy, you can also make a monetary donation on their website.
