BOISE, ID — As it gets hotter outside, the increase in travelers will see gas prices drop.
This month, gas prices in the Gem State will drop as much as seven cents a gallon.
Idahoans are paying one cent less per gallon than they were a year ago.
While gas prices are dropping for now, AAA projects that prices will increase as the summer continues.
With gasoline demand near a record high during the summer months and current gasoline inventories being at their lowest since June of 2016, drivers just might see gas prices go up.
