GARDEN CITY, Idaho — A Garden City man has been booked into the Ada County jail, accused of violating a No Contact Order and dousing a home in gasoline.

Garden City Police were dispatched to the 500 block of East 44th Street just after 7:00 p.m. Saturday to a "No Contact Order Violation in Progress" call.

While en route, officers were advised the suspect was pouring gasoline on the residence and himself. Police say someone was home at the time.

When officers arrived, they found 46-year-old Marcell Gurule hiding in the yard and immediately took him into custody.

Due to exposure to flammable liquids, Gurule was decontaminated at the scene by Boise firefighters.

No one inside the home was injured during the incident.

Gurule is now charged with Attempted 1st Degree Arson (F) and Violation of a No Contact Order (M).

He's expected in court Monday at 1:30 p.m.
