ISP: Moscow man found dead after Endangered Missing Person Alert

UPDATE: The Idaho State Police announced Jerry Milo Kendall has been found deceased and the alert has been canceled. Officers say they found Jerry just after 10 Friday morning near Quarl Run Drive in Moscow.

Updates on Jerry were delayed in order to give police time to inform Jerry's family. The cause of death is still being investigated by Moscow Police.

No further information was released by ISP.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Idaho State Police issued an Endangered Missing Person Alert for Jerry Milo Kendall of Moscow, Idaho.

Jerry is a 77-year-old man and is believed to have walked away from the Palouse Hill Assisted Living Facility in Moscow Thursday evening. ISP says Jerry was last seen wearing pink or light red shirt, pajama pants and socks with no shoes. He is around 5'10", 170 pounds with gray hair.

The Moscow Police Department, along with other agencies including Latah County Search and Rescue are continuing to actively search for him. If you believe you have seen Jerry or know his whereabouts, please call the Moscow Police Department at 208-882-COPS (2677) or 911.
