Elderly woman suffers life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on Ustick

Boise Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car on Ustick near Constantine Street.

According to police the accident happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Witnesses told police a car driving eastbound on Ustick hit an elderly woman in the crosswalk.  The woman, who has not been identified was taken to the hospital with what police are calling life-threatening injuries.

The adult female driver of the car remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, said police. Members of the Boise Police Criminal Investigation Division and Crash Scene Reconstruction Team also responded to the scene.
