Early voting starts Monday in Boise Mayoral Runoff Election

BOISE, Idaho — Beginning Monday, November 18, early voting will be available in Ada County for the December 3 Boise Mayoral Runoff Election.

The election was set up after Boise Mayor Dave Bieter and Boise City Council President Lauren McLean failed to reach the majority needed to win outright. McLean won nearly 46% to Bieter's 30%.

Early voting is available weekdays from Monday, November 18 through Friday, November 29, except Thanksgiving Day. Any voters residing within Boise City may vote at any of the early voting locations.

Voters not registered may register and vote at either location by bringing a photo ID or proof of residence. To see a preview of your ballot and to confirm that your precinct is eligible to vote in the runoff, click here or call (208) 287-6860.

Additionally, voters may request an absentee ballot through November 22 to vote by mail. The absentee ballot request form is available from the Ada County Elections website.
