Fire crews spent most of the day fighting a fire east of Banks in Boise County.
The fire burned around 125 acres and is about 80 percent contained.
The fire was first called in around 3p.m.
Boise County dispatchers tell us traffic on Banks-Lowman Road was allowed to continue but crews had to direct traffic.
Firefighers tell us in all, there were three hand crews on scene, five engines, three helicopters, three air tankers and a hotshot crew on scene.
Mop up will begin tomorrow. Crews won't work through the night because of steep rocky terrain.
