NAMPA, Idaho — The City of Nampa will accept Christmas trees for recycling between Thursday, December 26, 2019 through Friday, January 17, 2020. Trees may be dropped off at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, located at 76 6th Street North, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Residents are asked to follow directional signs on Weamer Lane for the drop-off location at the compost site within the cemetery. Staff are available to answer questions regarding the drop-off location at the cemetery office or by calling 208-468-5898 prior to drop-off.

Due to Kohlerlawn Cemetery funeral service schedules, residents are asked to only leave trees at the dedicated drop off site and not at the cemetery office or cemetery shop.

Trees must be free of stands, lights, ornaments, tinsel and other objects. The trees will be mulched and used throughout the City on walking paths and in tree wells.
