BOISE, Idaho — UPDATE: Central District Health has made the meeting agenda and draft order language for the August 11 meeting available for review. The consideration to close gyms has been removed from the order.
In a press release, CDH says closing gyms was a specific recommendation from the White House report for Idaho counties in the 'red zone', which prompted the Board's request for draft order language for more consideration. Gyms in Ada County have not been found to be a significant source of transmission to date, according to CDH.
The full draft order, including limitations for group gatherings and a mandate for face coverings in Valley County, can be viewed here.
