Two families of local children fighting cancer received a financial boost today.
"Boise's Got Faith" hosted their 6th annual "Kids' Crazy Sock Fun Run" at Julia Davis park.
100 percent of the proceeds will go to the families of a Kuna boy, and a 4-year-old Emmett girl.
The money will help them pay for expenses such as traveling back and forth to hospitals for treatments.
