The Broncos have their home opener Saturday, taking on the Washington State Cougars.
As always, game day parking is expected to be a bit crazy, but there are ways to avoid the parking headaches.
The free downtown shuttle is available again this year.
Game day shuttles start two hours before kick-off and have pick-up locations at different spots around downtown. The busses run every 15 minutes and resume immediately following the game.
"Amazingly, Bronco fans are typically ready for the first home games,” says Samuel Patterson with Boise State Public Safety. “They come early. They're prepared. They carpool. They park downtown using the Bronco game day shuttle. They also bike to our bike corral that's at Broadway and Chapel. And, thankfully, the Broadway Bridge is open."
If your go-to parking spot is in Julia Davis Park, you might want to get there early as Art in the Park goers will be taking up those spots.
"We recommend that folks come early," Patterson says. “Come early, be loud, and let’s go Broncos.”
You can also save some hassle by parking in a garage; it will only cost you five bucks with a game ticket.
