Boise State announces game series with University of South Florida

BOISE — The Boise State football team has scheduled a home-and-home series with the University of South Florida, Director of Athletics Curt Apsey announced Wednesday.

Boise State will travel to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, Aug. 30, 2025, and then host the Bulls at Albertsons Stadium, Sept. 11, 2027.

This will mark the first games played between Boise State and USF.

For the 2025 season, Boise State’s non-conference schedule now includes two road games -– at USF and Cincinnati (Sept. 27) and a home game against Oregon (Sept. 13). In 2027, the current non-conference slate includes home games against USF and Washington State(Sept. 18) and a road tilt at Rice (Sept. 4).

Boise State has played just two games against the American Athletic Conference, going 2-0 against Connecticut. However, against schools that currently comprise the league, the Broncos are 10-1 all-time. Boise State is 6-0 against Tulsa, and 2-0 against both SMU and UConn. The only blemish came against East Carolina in the 2007 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl.
