A Boise skateboarder is recovering after being struck by a car and police Still looking for the driver. Police say it happened Monday night at around 11 p.m. on Roosevelt near Hillcrest.
Dalton Harrold was riding his longboard down hill when a car turned in front of him causing him to crash into it. He suffered a concussion and other injuries but has since been released from the hospital. Dalton says the driver didn't stop to ask if he was all right but just drove off.
"I just really hope the person finds it in their heart to maybe come forward but other than that I don't have any ill will towards the person it is what it is you know," said Dalton Harrold.
Police say the car may be a dark colored SUV and are urging the public to come forward with any information.
A Go Fund Me account has been set up to help Dalton and his family.
