BOISE — The pandemic has canceled many group activities and exercise classes, but the Boise School District is making sure our community still has a way to stay connected.

Boise Learns is offering more than 150 education courses taught by volunteers that range from culinary classes to group fitness to art classes.

They are all taught virtually, so you can do it right from your home and anyone of any age can sign up.

“To help serve our community in a way that people understand that even if you don’t have children in the district we want to be here for you," said Dan Hollar, Public Affairs Administrator. "And provide you with an opportunity in the case of community ed but to also learn something new and enhance your life and help us connect you with a larger community at heart.”

The next session of classes starts on Jan. 25 and runs through March 18.
