BOISE, Idaho — Tomorrow marks the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, when astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first men to set foot on the moon.

In honor of that, the Boise Public Library is hosting a slew of fun educational events this weekend.

Saturday, the main library will be hosting two different events:

Saturday Stories: The Moon and Outerspace from 10:30 to 11 AM.

Space Crafting: Moon Rocks & Stomp Rockets from 11 AM to 12 PM.

In August, the libraries at Hillcrest and Bown Crossing will be hosting a star-lab event, taking place inside an inflatable planetarium.

To sign up for the star-labs, visit the Boise Public Library's event page.
