Missing Boise man's body found in foothills

BOISE, Idaho — UPDATE: The Ada County Coroner's office identified the body as 68--year-old Teodomiro Carhuas. Teo's body was found above Bison Drive in Boise.

Teo has been missing since December 19, 2019. Toxicology is pending and may take several weeks to return.

The investigation is being led by the Boise Police Department.

ORIGINAL STORY: Boise Police Officers responded a report of a body found in the foothills near North 36th Street. The call came in around 1:15 Sunday afternoon.

BPD officers, detectives and the Ada County Coroner began an investigation, including looking into recent missing person reports. A tentative identification has been made and the Ada County Coroner's Office will release more information about the man's identity. The release is not expected to be available until at least Tuesday.

At this time, there are no signs of foul play. The body was found about half a mile north of the nearby golf course in a remote area.
