Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area has announced that the resort will be partially open on Friday, November 27th and remain open through the holiday weekend.

The resort will open with an 18” base and has received over 25” of snow throughout November.

Four snowmaking guns have been in use for several weeks to help create additional snow for several zones across the mountain.

“We are very excited to have an early opening for the holiday weekend,” said Brad Wilson, Bogus Basin’s new General Manager. “This is a great opportunity for Bogus Basin and the Treasure Valley. We are hoping for a very successful season this year.”

The Coach and Deer Point chair lifts will be open for skiing and snowboarding with a Terrain Park at Stewarts Bowl.

Nordic Skiing is open for portions of the upper trails at the Nordic Center.

Hours of operation for the lifts, lodge and other services will be 10:00 am to 4:30 pm on Friday and 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Ticket prices will be $35 and children under the age of twelve will be $20.

Season Passes will be accepted for lift access.

If you need to rent equipment, Black Diamond Sports retail and rental shops will be open.

Ski and Snowboard School will be available for walk-in lessons.
