Detectives with the Ada County Sheriff’s Office have released surveillance footage of a suspected burglar at a home near Amity and Maple Grove.
The burglar approached the home, unscrewed a light bulb on the porch and broke a window but left after an alarm went off in the early morning hours of December 28th.
The incident occurred less than a mile from a home on Choctaw Way where someone had broken in through a bedroom window around the same time and stole a dozen guns inside including AK-47 rifles.
Similar burglaries occurred near around the Christmas holiday in Eagle on Shalimar Drive where at least 20 guns were stolen.
