What better way to embrace the spring season than to time spent outdoors in a garden? Saturday visitors enjoyed the fourth annual "Spring Fling" at the veterans garden in Caldwell honoring Idaho veterans in our community.
The event featured garden tours, food, and seasonal planting. They even held a flag burning ceremony to honor fallen soldiers.
Local girl scouts came out to plant fruit trees and cub scouts were on hand building a library for the garden.
The group hopes the garden will remain a part of the community where citizens can come and honor veterans.
