The Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Southwest Idaho teamed up with the Ada County Sheriff's Office today for their annual "Bigs for a Day" event.
Kids from Big Brothers Big Sisters were matched with members of the sheriff's office to gain some real life perspective about the life of an officer.
They played games, met a K-9 officer and saw the human side of Boise police work.
The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is to help children in the community to have the best future possible.
Today was the second year for the "Bigs for a Day" event.
