A Meridian 18-year-old has been booked into the Ada County Jail after police say he sexually penetrated two female high school students with his finger on separate occasions.

First, Meridian Police say they were told of an incident that took place March 15th, while KC Knight was on a date with a female classmate in the 2000 block of East Cinema Drive.

The parents of the victim later learned of the alleged crime and contacted police, Meridian Police Deputy Chief Tracy Basterrechea said.

While investigating, officers were made aware of an earlier, similar crime that took place February 25th near the campus of a Meridian high school. Police have not disclosed the name of the school.

The victim reportedly told a friend, who then informed the school’s principal. The principal then contacted police, Basterrechea stated.

Reports say, in both cases, the victims told the suspect “no.”

Learning that he was under investigation, Knight notified police and was arrested without incident at a parking lot in the 1000 block of South Progress Avenue.

“In both cases, the victims disclosed to someone a short time later what had happened. It was good the persons they told took the disclosures seriously and notified police,” Basterrechea said.

Police say the suspect knew both victims.

“We do not believe there are any other victims,” Basterrechea stated.

Knight now faces two felony counts of forcible sexual penetration with a foreign object.

He is scheduled to make his initial court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
