Food trucks to raise money to fight cancer

The American Cancer Society will be rounding up 8 different food trucks in Meridian to raise money during a family event.

During Hops n' Hawgs, they'll all be lined up in the joint parking lots of Slanted Rock Brewery and High Desert Harley Davidson. A portion of their food sales will benefit ACS, and there will be plenty of carnival activities for the whole family -- live music, face painting, mechanical bull riding, and bounce houses.

One of the food trucks that will be there is Mad Mac, which serves 6 types of specialty mac and cheese. The truck pulled up to the On Your Side studio during Good Morning Idaho. Watch the videos above to learn more about the companies involved in helping the non-profit.

Hops n' Hawgs is Friday, May 20th from 4-9 pm.

Saturday, May 21st is the 3 B's Poker Run. It stands for Boobs, Butts, and Bikes, and raises awareness for both breast and colorectal cancer. The ride starts at 11:30.
