The closure on the Greenbelt in Garden City has been extended after the project encountered unforeseen issues and weather-related delays.
Ada County Parks and Waterways announced that the closure along the south side of the Boise River, just downstream from the Garden City West Bridge will continue through to March 22nd.
ACPW is asking that pedestrians avoid the area as there are no posted detours available through the construction zone.
