BOISE, Idaho — Albertsons announced at Monday's press conference that it will continue its title sponsorship of the Boise Open golf tournament for three more years, extending the partnership through 2028.
The annual tournament, now in its 36th consecutive year, has raised nearly $40 million for charity since its inception in 1990.
"We are immensely proud to extend our title sponsorship of the Albertsons Boise Open for three more years," said Susan Morris, Albertsons Cos. Chief Executive Officer. "This marquee event is a special opportunity to give back to the Boise community — home to our corporate headquarters and our very first Albertsons grocery store — while deepening collaboration with valued suppliers, supporting the next generation of golfers, and helping raise substantial funds for organizations that uplift people's lives."
This year's event, scheduled for Aug. 14-17, will feature three nights of concerts following tournament play, including performances by Darius Rucker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Brothers Osborne.
Thursday through Saturday tickets are already sold out for the tournament and concerts. Sunday tickets for the final round and Junior Day are still available online for $10.
