Man accused of robbing banks found guilty

A Washington State man has been convicted of robbing two Boise banks in 2015.

Kent G. Williams was arrested by Boise Police officers in August of 2015 and an Ada County jury has since found Williams guilty of three felonies and two sentencing enhancements.

Williams is facing two counts of robbery (F), unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon (F) with two enhancements for being a persistent violator and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.

Sentencing for Kent Williams is scheduled for May 23, 2016.

Boise Police is urging anyone with information linking Williams to other bank robberies is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
