Three people hospitalized after four-car crash in Boise

BOISE - Three people are hospitalized after a four-car crash Monday evening in Boise.

It happened around 6:15 p.m. on Five Mile Road just south of Ustick near the intersection of West Excalibur Street.

Three of the four cars involved were so badly damaged they needed to be towed from the scene.

Officers tell 6 On Your Side there were children inside one of the involved vehicles, but they were not injured. All three individuals hospitalized are adults with non-life threatening injuries.

Southbound Five Mile was blocked off to traffic while crews worked to clear the scene.
