Police in three states are looking for a Canyon County woman missing since Monday.

Officers say Nicole Howerzyl, 64, was last seen about 8 a.m. Monday when she left her daughter’s home in Grass Valley, California, enroute back to Idaho.

She was driving a 2007 silver and grey Mercedes Benz ML 350, with Idaho license 15909, according to the Idaho Missing Persons Clearinghouse.

Howerzyl has blonde hair and blue eyes.

She was traveling alone, returning to her home in Canyon County. “She often travels by herself,” said sister-in-law Julie Howerzyl.

Family members say they have notified the Idaho State Police, the California Highway Patrol, the Nevada Highway Patrol, the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office and Nampa Police Department.

Family members are retracing her presumed route, checking with hotels, motels, and businesses along the way.

If you’ve seen Howerzyl or know anything about her whereabouts, you are urged to contact the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office at 454-7531.
