One injured in south Ada County head-on crash

At least one person was taken to a hospital with what authorities describe as non-life-threatening injuries following a head-on collision south of Meridian Monday morning.

The crash was reported shortly after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Meridian and Columbia Roads, in south Ada County.

Ada County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Kuna Police officers, and paramedics all responded.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Columbia Road was blocked to all westbound traffic for about an hour after the crash.
