Nampa Police are investigating a battery that took place Wednesday in which a female flagger was punched in the face and dragged a short distance.

According to a Nampa Police social media posting, the crime occurred about 11:30 a.m. October 8th at the intersection of North Kings Road and East Victory Road in Nampa. “The suspect punched a 67-year-old female flagger in the face, then grabbed onto her while he drove away, dragging her for a short distance,” according to the posting. The man was last seen heading southbound on North Kings Road.

The suspect is described as an African-American man, about 28 to 30 years old. Police say he was driving a silver Mustang convertible with a black top and dark tinted windows. Witnesses told investigators he had an Idaho license plate that partially read 2CM.
