The 2015 edition of the Idaho Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Raffle” game has ended in a sell-out, officials said.

The 250,000th ticket was sold early Tuesday morning, according to Lottery spokesman Dave Workman, and sales have now officially ended. No additional tickets will be issued.

“Nearly 30 percent of the entire tickets sold in the final ten days of sales,” Workman said.

“Someone right now is holding a ticket worth one-million dollars,” said Idaho Lottery Director Jeff Anderson. He reminded all players holding an “Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle” ticket to sign the back of it and keep it in a safe place until the winning numbers are announced.

They will be announced on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 9:58 p.m. Mountain Time.

Players can check their tickets for winning numbers at idaholottery.com, at all Idaho Lottery retail locations, on the Idaho Lottery information hotline at 208-334-4656, or by using the Idaho Lottery Check-a-Ticket app for their iPhone or Android phone.

In addition to the top prize of $1,000,000, there are two $10,000 prizes, 560 prizes of $250, and 5,600 prizes of $25.  This year’s “Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle” also featured ten, $1,000 prizes during the game for players who purchased one of the ten 25,000th tickets.

“Only six of these ten prizes have been claimed  The unclaimed tickets are 125000, 175000, 22500, and 250000.  Tickets 125000, 175000, and 250000 are all from Bannock County in eastern Idaho.  Ticket 225000 is from Canyon County,” Workman said.

“All winning tickets of $1,000 or higher in this game must be claimed at Lottery offices in Boise. Players will have 180 days after the draw on December 31, 2015 to claim their prizes.  Idaho Lottery offices are closed on January 1, 2016 in observation of New Year’s Day. Offices will reopen on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 8 AM Mountain Time,” he added.

Lottery officials said this year’s “Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle” generated over $800,000 for the Idaho Lottery’s beneficiaries, Idaho Public Schools and the Permanent Building Fund.
