A former BSU football player has been booked into the Ada County Jail on four felony domestic battery counts.

Boise Police officers were dispatched to what was originally a call of a possible road rage situation in the area of Broadway Avenue and Front Street about 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

As officers were responding, they received more information that the situation was reportedly a physical domestic altercation which had occurred earlier at a residence near the intersection of Pennsylvania Street and Amy Avenue.

Once on the scene, officers were able to talk with the female victim --and gather evidence of a verbal argument which had taken place between the woman and a male acquaintance.

According to a BPD news release, the argument escalated when the suspect was alleged to have physically battered the victim.

The victim left the residence in a vehicle, and met with police in the area of Broadway and Front.

Officers were able to locate the suspect, later identified as Kameron Miles, 22. Officers say Miles had left the residence in a separate vehicle.

The police investigation initially started in February, when Miles was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge.

At that time, Miles was a linebacker for Boise State. The school announced his dismissal from the team the same day he was charged with the misdemeanor.
