An Interfaith Sanctuary client received a big surprise Wednesday.

After letting staff know of his goal to run a half marathon before turning 55 soon, Donald Weiss was hooked up from head to toe.

The owner of Shu's Idaho Running Company provided the sponsorship.

Plus, Weiss' shoes are a custom fit!  He says the generosity will give him the confidence to finish the race.

"I tried them out and, absolutely, it feels like I'm running on air. So, it's just a tremendous advantage... everything they did here," said Donald Weiss. "That's very important when it comes to running, the same way it's important when it comes to any other sports."

Weiss will put his endurance and his new shoes to the test on May 21. He is signed up for the Famous Idaho Potato Marathon.
