Nampa Police Detectives say they have obtained a felony warrant for Ashley Ford, 27, related to the March 10th Nampa stabbing of Robert Stevens.

“The warrant is for accessory to second degree murder,” said Nampa Police Lt. Eric Skoglund. “Ford was initially being sought as a person of interest in this case. (We) have been searching for her since the date of this incident. Two days ago, Ford was seen in Bonners County Idaho with suspect James Mancuso,” he stated.

Mancuso and Ford eluded police in an attempt to apprehend them. At that time, they abandoned the blue 2009 Subaru they had been driving. Police in north Idaho believe the couple may have stolen a vehicle near that area.

Police say Mancuso and Ford may now be driving a white 1991 extended cab 4WD Toyota pickup with Idaho plate 7B95103.  “That vehicle was reported stolen near the area of the abandoned Subaru,” Skoglund added.

The case has become a join investigation involving the Nampa Police Department, the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office, the Idaho State Police, the United States Marshall’s Office, and the other law enforcement agencies.
