A 20-year-old Caldwell man has died as a result of a fall near Jump Creek Falls in Owyhee County.
Ada County Coroner Dotti Owens says Coit Edwin Herrick, Jr. died as a result of blunt force trauma due to a fall.
He was pronounced dead at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical center in Boise about 10 p.m. Saturday.
According to reports, Herrick was hiking with friends in the Jump Creek Falls area when he fell.
The Coroner has ruled the death accidental.
