Boise State Defensive Back Michael Young arrested on DUI charge

Boise State University football player Michael Young was booked in Ada County on a misdemeanor DUI charge just before 3:40 a.m. on September 24th.

On Sunday Boise police performed a traffic stop on a vehicle they say had run a red light.

Police say young failed a field sobriety test and his blood alcohol tested well over the legal limit at .142

Young is listed on the depth chart as a starter when the season began but has yet to start for the Broncos.

Young is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, September 25th, for arraignment.

Michael Young is the second Boise State player to be arrested this month.
