Bronco Football Player David Moa Arrested

Junior Defensive Tackle David Moa was arrested by Boise Police early Saturday morning and was later released.  He is listed as no longer being in custody and is to appear in court this coming Monday.  Heading into this season he was named multiple preseason watch lists. 

At 1:53 a.m. on September 16, Boise Police officers working downtown were alerted to a disturbance outside a nightclub on the 100 block of S. 6th street.  Two men were shoving each other, yelling and challenging to fight.

The two men, identified as David Moa, 21, and Trevor Buffi, 25, were taken into custody and charged with misdemeanor disturbing the peace. 

Moa, led the Broncos with 8 1/2 sacks last year and was also named as an All-Mountain West first-team selection. 

This season he had two solo tackles, including one for a loss against Troy and picked up a sack among his five tackles (one solo) at Washington State.
