The Payette County Coroner has identified the body of a man found dead near an irrigated field along Big Willow Road and Dry Creek Road.
The coroner said the body is that of as Jeff Brenner, 43, of Payette, who was last seen on Monday, May 29th.
On Tuesday morning, Payette County Dispatch received a call from a landowner reporting the discovery of what was believed to be a human body.
Payette County deputies responded to the scene and discovered Brenner’s body.
Brenner’s vehicle was discovered off Dry Creek Road between Little Willow Road and Big Willow Road on Friday, June 2nd, according to a news release from the Payette County Sheriff’s Office. Brenner’s family, friends and deputies from the Payette County Sheriff’s Office searched the area by both ground and air over the weekend, the release said.
The cause of death is still under investigation.
