World-class golf comes to Boise this week. The Albertsons Boise open is in it's 28th year.

Not only is this a week full of great golf, but it's also for a good cause. In 2016, the Albertsons Boise Open delivered 1.4 million dollars to charities.

For the second year in a row, the Albertsons Boise Open will be one of four Web.com Tour Finals events.

Players are competing for the final 25 PGA TOUR Cards available and the largest purse on the Web.com Tour schedule at 1 million.

One of the pro golfers says he's been golfing since he was only about three or four. This is his second year golfing at Hillcrest Country Club and he says the course is in good shape.

"I mean I think the scores will be low. The wind will probably pick up this week. We'll probably play a little tougher than normal, but it normally is a course that has a lot of birdies and eagles and a lot of fireworks," said J.T. Poston, professional golfer.
