MERIDIAN, ID — A group of motorcycle riders who were all women learned about self-defense and awareness tactics at high desert Harley Davidson on Saturday. They learned the proper way to use a stun gun and pepper spray by practicing on a dummy.
Paula Faraday says she's been riding for six years, and she's had a few uncomfortable situations. She says the class makes her feel more prepared in case of an attacker.
"Because I'm a female rider. I've had people be rude to me, kind of disrespectful at times, but I just have to make sure that I'm just aware and safe and because I don't think people are so in tuned with female riders yet," said Faraday.
