One person hospitalized after car crashes into Boise building

WEST BOISE, Idaho — One man is in the hospital following a vehicle crash into a building off Franklin Road at around 9 p.m. on Friday.

Photos captured of the incident show a car totaled after appearing to have hit a column at Total Offroad & More in West Boise.

At 11 a.m. on Saturday, Neighborhood Reporter Allie Triepke was at the scene and saw that the front of the business was blocked off with caution tape.

A spokesperson with Boise Police said BPD officers responded to the scene, but ISP is handling the investigation. They added that Boise Fire also responded and helped to perform an extrication on the vehicle.

One man sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to a local hospital by Ada County Paramedics.
