For couples the holidays are a popular time to pop the big question. As we kick off the new year, those newly engaged are preparing to plan a wedding. Sunday, dozens of local vendors met up under one roof to help make the planning process a little easier.
From cake decorators and to dress designers to event planners and available wedding venues, there were plenty of options on display at the Wedding Party Show at the Boise Centre.
"This is one of the best shows. It's the longest running shows and so the wedding show is just the hype for the year. What a great opportunity to come down. Find out the best vendors in the city and just walk through and get ideas and that's really what we've been doing for years," said Stan Laetham, Saphire Mobile Music.
The show also included a runway fashion show.
