A low pressure system centered in Nevada continues to create instability across the region on Monday. This means another windy, cool day on tap for the Treasure Valley. A wind advisory is in effect until 9pm due to strong northwest winds across the area for most of the day, with gusts up to 45mph possible in the Boise area. Owhyee County is under a winter weather advisory today, with snow accumulations of 3"-4" possible there. Areas like Jackpot, NV could pick up nearly 10" of snow before the system exits on Tuesday.
