Snow showers will continue this evening with a dusting to a coating in some areas. A few inches of snow could fall in the foothills this evening and tonight.
More snow showers possible Tuesday morning then rain showers in the afternoon.
A very wet weather pattern is setting up for at least the next couple of weeks which is increasing the flood threat in the valley. The Boise River will be at flood stage (7000cfs) Tuesday afternoon and future rises are not out of the question but have not been planned as of yet.
Heavy mountain snow will fall in the ski areas this next week with some mountain peaks potentially getting 3-5 feet of new snow!
